Dr. Puneet Dargan is a well-known Surgeon in Chennai who specialises in Liver Transplantation, and HBP Surgery. He also specialises in living donor liver transplant and has over 27 years of experience. He earned his Master’s degree in Liver Transplantation and HPB Surgery from the Henri Bismuth Hepatobiliary Institute in France. In addition, he got a European Diploma in HPB Oncosurgery from Paul Brousse Hospital in Paris, France. Dr. Puneet has performed over 1000 Liver Transplant Surgeries and has published many papers in peer-reviewed journals. At Fortis Hospital, Dr. Puneet Dargan was instrumental in establishing the exclusive Liver ICU. He also oversees the Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery Program at Fortis providing minimally-invasive procedure options for patients diagnosed with cancer and diseases in the pancreas and liver.
